TO EXIST LOUDLY + WHAT IT MEANS TO ME

I can remember vividly a post that was tweeted which I shared on the 1st of January, 2020. However, I cannot remember exactly who tweeted that but it read something like “this year, I am going to exist loudly.” This means I was going to take chances, to live fully and powerfully, live my best life e-v-e-r-y-d-a-y, be bold and dauntless, harness opportunities, post regularly (this is a big deal to me and almost like a chore)

And while that part of my life has been going on, there’s still a part that is a little bit silenced and not because I was silenced or anything of sort but because that part of me was not really sure of what I wanted. If I was asked about how I felt as at the beginning of the year, I was ecstatic and really wanted to do this – life. That has not changed. I’m still up for that.

Live without fear, carefree, happy. If no other two words have ever stood out before, these have to me. Exist loudly.-  Maceyslife

I HAVE TO

More like I got to do what I got to do to make me happy. And part of that includes achieving my goals as well as making conscious efforts to be happy while appreciating the gifts around me. This has seeped into my subconscious that even when I feel like I’m not up for it or do not feel like it, I should be happy. I should be excited about this- living. About going through the process and taking steps to see that I am truly happy. Not anyone can help me with that task no matter how hard they could try or how close we are. It is my choice, my happiness.

GROWTH AND COMFORT DO NOT COEXIST

Embracing this truth has been life changing. Saw it on an instagram feed from Biola Jinadu recently and I felt it was timely. It was a piece of advice given by someone who is 25 years of age to her younger self. And this is me owning the truth because growth and comfort do not actually coexist. It is like being on the line and trust me on this one, you don’t really want to be on the line. It’s either you are in or you are out. It is either you are going up or you are going down. That way it is easier to decipher your stance and hence, take measures or precautions. This is a note to self.

LIVING WITHOUT FEAR

Initially, this was hard for me plus with a lot of phobias existing, it becomes almost difficult to say you do not have a fear. This implies that we know the fears that we have and face but we won’t let that fear paralyze us. Personally, fear is crippled to me and I won’t let that stop me.

I don’t flinch, my faith won’t let me.

You should totally share what you’ve been up to Chum. It helps a great deal 🤗

I find expression writing about life, style, and personal development even as it relates to our day to day activities. This is coupled with the fact that words have a lasting impact on people so I ensure to use them for good.
